Job Description
GTRI's Aerospace, Transportation, and Advanced Systems (ATAS) Laboratory is seeking a talented and innovative Student Assistant to join our design team to explore and develop parametric variations of balloon-like inflatable systems using Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to conceptualize, design, and iterate on advanced inflatable structures that may be applied in various architectural and industrial contexts.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Student Assistant/Research Assistant
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university during working semesters
- 3.0 or higher GPA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Rhinoceros 3D
- Experience working with Grasshopper
- Experience working with SolidWorks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively share ideas and collaborate with the team.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
