Job Description
This is a 15-20 hours per week Graduate Research Assistant position that supports the success and impact of the GTRI Inclusive Excellence Unit (IEU). The Graduate Assistant reports to the Associate Director(s) on projects that may include supporting data analytics and management, program coordination, website, web-based application, report and presentation development, pipeline initiatives, and retention efforts. The Graduate Assistant will also support workshops, seminars, and programs connected to the Inclusive Excellence Unit and may attend IEU meetings. Requires completion of other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Graduate Research Assistant
- Pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD at Georgia Tech.
- Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)
- Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
- Program coordination skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software and file sharing tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Data analytics or data management skills or familiarity
- Familiarity with Box and cloud-based content, as well as file sharing tools
- Familiarity with website, web-based application, and social media tools that may include experience in editing and managing website content
- Program coordination experience
- Report and presentation development skills
